strange clipping error

has anyone seen something like this?




it sweeps the map like a lighthouse beam....occurred after entering the worldbuilder, but persisted when i returned to the game proper.

I had that happen once, I tried to save but the game locked up and I had to kill it with ctrl alt del. I reloaded from last autosave and everything was ok and I have never seen it again.
