strategic view question

ok i fried my video card so i only have an onboard intel video (G33/G31 Express).

will i be able to boot up the game and get into the game (strategic view) without a 3D GPU? i'll eventually get a new 3D card but until then i'm stuck with this onboard video.

I don't know about how it would effect 3d and such, but I certainly hope that you will be able to play the whole game in strategic view for those people whos computers can't handle standard civ 5 graphics.
