Peace talks has resumed with France gaining 2 ecos and current borders, having their diplomats returned, while China gains a NAP on the honor of France, and military advisors sent to China. EMperor Tai-Song has signed this treaty, and hopes this will bring an era of cooperation between China and France.

British Troops Move in from India

30,000 british troops, the largest movement since the war began, have marched through eastern India and into China, near the British railroad. They bring with them many cavalry and artillery, and right now are crossing the mountains that dot that region. these rienforcements are spreading the news over telegraph networks and across Chinese cities and villages that Cixi is back, and she wishes aid from all her loyal subjects, to vanquish the corrupt, Tai Song. Britian spreads this news because Tai Song has mostly supressed the knowledge of civil war, and Britian believes that all citizens of china should know about a civil war in their own country. British troops near Hong Kong continue to push forwards, and now ships are patrolling along the coast, bombarding Chinese volunteer positions and coastal forts.

The British Royal Army also recruits more soldiers. (increase my army by 3 economy points) These soldiers will aid the war in china, and also protect frontiers of the Empire against all threats.

In Other News

Britian blockades the chinese coast from any goods being shipped in. Although China is self suffiecient mostly, The recent influx in peasent volunteers have left the farms somewhat empty, and recent wars have damaged crops heavily. British troops continue to march, restoring order in the name of Cixi.

British forces also carry with them food and other basic supplies, to give to the poor villages of western china, and all that support Cixi.

Examinations restarted​

The Examinations are restarted once again last year at the decree of Emperor Tai-Song, but this time, not with just the old Confuciusian Classics, but also with Western Knowledge. The Peasant Yu Wei, a peasant from the Yunnan Province of China, has earned great sucess and has been easily promoted. His heroic efforts in Hainkou as an Infantrymen in the Defense against the French Invaders from Vietnam. He bravely charged at French Infantry with a lone sword, and was able to cut down 3 or 4 of them and while this was happening, screaming like a lion. This brave action caused the French Infantry to halt, in fear of the "Human Devils". He has been promoted to General, and has gained command of the Army of Yunnan, and is ordered to defend Chinese Proper from the British Imperialists, and for the glory of the Chinese Kingdom.

Minister Hao-Ming​

A Hui from Xinjiang, he has rose to a prominent position with the Emperor in his court after Tai-Song ended the Regentship of his mother, and sent her to Taiwan. He now has been promoted to the newly created Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has been created to deal with all foriegn nations aside from Britain, and the rogue nation of Taiwan. He has ordered the release of the British and French Diplomats in prison. The British Diplomats are to be sent out of the country, while the French are to remain and continue the French Embassy since peace has been signed between the Great nations of China and France.

British Imperialists!​

The British Empire, it's colony of India, and it's Dominion of Canada has as you know, declared war on China nearly 2 years ago right after China and Britain signed a NAP and a Trade Deal. The Following year, Britain broke the NAP and Trade Deal, staining it's honor, China kept her side of that deal, but Britain easily broke it and sided with the Traitor Cixi. Britain is a honorless nation, or at least it's Ruler, Queen Victoria is honorless and for the Former Dowager Empress to side with this Honorless Queen is sickening for the Emperor Tai-Song. He's disgust towards Cixi allying with Britain is so great, that he has publicly announced that he is no longer a relative of Cixi, and was never one of that Traitorous Scum. In other words, the Emperor married a Han Chinese women from Suzhou as he was crusing the south, and preparing the defense. It is also remoured that the Emperor Himself, the Tianzhi, will take up arms and fight against the British Imperialists and the Traitor Cixi.

We were simply saying since the Chinese Emperors have almost always been men, and it is standard for the male to be the heir to the Chinese throne, and as a female, Cixi has no right.

OOC: it was quite common for ppl to do that if a relative of theirs has dishonored themselves, or betrayed the Chinese Nation. And Cixi is not a relative of the previous emperors, just wife of the previous Emperor before her first son. This is all OOC cuz it's historical.

OOC: On the contary, Empress Dowager Cixi WAS a concubine of the Xianfeng Emperor. The Empress of China at that time, Cian, was the Wife and Empress of the Xianfeng Emperor. Dowager Empress means Mother of Emperor btw, however, if the person is from the previous generation, she is referred to as the Grand Dowager Empress.
