Success: Running BTS under MX Linux 21

Hurray, finally got past the renderer failed error after following the steps on this link. Now the game runs beautifully on my MX Linux 21 computer.

Hadn't heard about MX Linux before. However that recipe looks similar to others I've seen. Just remember to include MSXML3 as well, otherwise you are likely to get some issues.

Unfortunately his scripts haven't been updated for a while, but I used this script, which took care of everything (from what I recall, it's been years now):
