Suggest a personality for a leaderhead! (3d, one era)

Behold! Drift's first Poser creation. I'm still all tangled up with the program and it probably shows, but this is just my first test of whether I can manage 3d leaderheads. I hate looking for props and I really haven't figured out how to use them yet, but luckily pasting clothes seems to work ok. (BTW it's somewhat mind-numbing to paste same image into same place for 121 frames so if someone knows an easier way, I'd appreciate it if you shared it. )

He should have been a little closer to camera, but the distance isn't that different from Firaxis leaders. Some texture for the skin wouldn't have hurt, but this is a learning process and I've just started. Concrete tips about Poser are naturally welcome.

As he is a rather generic Mid-Eastern guy, he obviously lacks some character, but I'd still like you to offer suggestions of who he could be. I refuse to release him as a "generic mid-eastern guy".

Well, just to suggest something, p'rhaps Saladdin?

Saladins a good one...Other ones could be Alp Arsan a Seljuk Turk leader..more of a warrior then Osman.

Problem is that he doesn't look at all like Saladin. Of course, he doesn't really look at all like any well known historical person.

The next suggest that hit me is Odenathus of Palmyra, but I fear he's rather less likely to be required as a Leaderhead.

Yup, could be a tad too specific.

skin seems ok, you sure there is no texture? looks like the default one, which is again ok.
only the eyes looks strange in the middle picture (looks like "slant" morph, makes him look a bit alien).
is the clothing from poser too? if so, I want to know where to get it

Well, if you want him to be a generic Mid-Eastern guy without calling him that, you can give him an Arab-sounding name, that isn't one specific person. Otherwise, I have no idea.

Me and my language. There is texture, but I meant that the skin should have more texture to it and not be so bland.

Eyes do seem a bit slanted. At one point I was fooling with more asian looking head and I guess the eyes stuck.

Clothing is Temujin's medieval clothes, meticulously pasted over each frame. (After pasting neutral pose shoulders and part of neck over all frames as the shoulders moved with the head. How do you freeze them and move just the head and neck? )

Looks really nice. Don't know why, but I like the angry face best. Probably because it has most texture and most expression. Maybe he looks a bit to nice and friendly in the other 2.
No ideas as to who this could be though, sorry.

Wow... It looks really good to me.

The only suggestion I have is to make the eyes a little less womanly, because they make him look like an Ottoman Drag Queen. Other than that, it looks amazing.

I read once that the only picture we have of Saladin that is made by someone who actually saw him was this one.

Make him into an Ancient Egyptian like Ramses II or Tutenkomen. He looks most like an Egyptian anyways, plus we need a better leaderhead to better represtent the Gypts then Cleopatra.
