Suggestion: Add Boers

Title says it all. Recently found out about Rhyes for Civ 5 is being worked on South Africa or Boers would be a good addition. There is certainly space for them and they are already a Civ in Scramble.

Boers seem contingent on the Netherlands (or perhaps any other European power) colonizing the southern tip of Africa. However, the group that naturally should pop up adjoining the Cape are the Zulu.

It would be to conquer neighbors up to Lake Victoria and resist other European powers in Africa (sort of like a Monroe Doctrine). However, they would be hampered with permanent + unhappiness from conquered (eg, African) cities. City states would not be razeable.

However, Africa should not be a punching bag without a native resistance civ (eg, the Zulus). This mod shouldn't feature a Scramble for Africa without a playable Player civ able to defend it (Hiawatha, Montezuma, and Pachacuti are team Defense for the Americas)

Have the most nukes, have the most farms and plantations, conquer Southern Africa.

basically you are suggesting make let's say 7 farms and control 3 cities, because that seems to be what you can fit in the current map. If I am wrong please let me know

Also maybe something about autocracy and nuking Britain unless they adopt autocracy and maybe securing Uranium and Angola.

usually 2 of the three historical goals have been accomplished by the civ you are playing with, in this case to me it seems to be a choice among the following:

1 - found 3 cities
2- secure uranium gems and so on
3- build 7 farms or whatever it fits the map.

It seems to me you would need a bigger map otherwise it is a rather uneventful game.

They come late and are contingent on Netherlands colonizing area. If there is a need to fill that area Mapungubwe-Zimbabwe would make much more sense, but honestly other places in Sub-Saharan Africa (Western and Horn) should get civs if there are new civs to be added IMO looking at it from both historical and gameplay perspective.
However them being released in case of European civ collapse there would be great.
