Take a close and detailed look at Caveman2Cosmos for Civ 4.
Adapt it to the modern PC Memory capabilities via a new engine.
Create a sort-of Mega Ultimate Earth Map as a New Game option, so we can play as ALL THOSE CIVILIZATIONS at the same time, ya know.
Make sure you DON'T delete the best parts of the concept when creating the actual Civ 8.
PROFIT.
But, of course, nobody will CARE anyways, because "fans gonna fan over any horsehockey you give them with the appropriate LABEL tacked onto it".
That is also a sad FACT.
