The Headline should be selfexplaining, I would suggest to split up the Unit-Request-Thread into a handful of smaller ones. This one is already 10 pages long, wait some more weeks and nobody will find anything in it anymore.

There could be 2 approaches, either by Timeframe (Ancient, medieval, Industrial, WW1&2 ect..) or by Unit-Type (Infantry, Cavalry, Tanks, Planes ect....)

Regards,
Kopernikus (Who is working on a 1102-Unit-long Request-list for his WW1-Scenario :D :crazyeye:)

It would be nice if there were just an entire forum for requests, so that each request -- whether for a unit, building, improvement, code, whatever -- could be its own thread, where people who could respond to that request could ask questions, and where others interested in the project can vote on each request separately so modders have a sense of which ones are in most demand.

I second this exept the poll. democracy seems disfunctional to me in a creative process like unitmaking. Well, won't do harm either since unitmakers will do what they want to do and can do anyway and not what's mostly demanded.

a poll whould be good for the request this thread has though to make the moderators eventually see the need of it too.

If you moderators won't go for this you should at least delete fullfilled unitrequest. The unitrequestthread is indeed not proving to be useful like it is anymore.
