I agree, actually. Engineer slots are for some odd reason very hard to come by pre-Industrial era.

Slavery and workshops make agrarian economy productive. If we let unlimited engineers in industrial and late medieval era, then we will see super cities and super armies in the 1500AD, so Byzantium will finish the technology tree by 1700AD. Think about it...

I don't think the consequences will be as severe, but the general idea is that engineers should be hard to come by before the industrial revolutions which makes some sense to me.

What about all the buildings of the great ancient civilizations of the world? Engineers were plentiful.

Great engineer's 'hurry production wonder' is limited by 'religion',
(i think the reason of only one engineer slot for bts is balance for 'unlimited wonder rush')

'discovering tech' can't complete industrial tech
and an engineer gives only 2 hammer but mine 3 ~ 6.

    i don't think it's overpowered, but respect Leo's decision

According to Ancient Aliens TV Series in History Channel, it was built by Aliens, not by great Engineers :mischief:

What about in ancient times lots of engineers, then in medieval-rennaisance not many, industrial+ lots?

Rennassisance was a time of great buildings and works; limiting engineers wouldn't make sense.

All I'm saying is to slap another engineer slot onto the forge.

On the topic of Great Engineers, do you think that when they are settled, they should give 4 hammers instead of 3? Whenever I get a Great Engineer and can't work on any wonders, I think "what a waste, a Great Prophet would be much better".

Indeed, there are IMO two things Great Prophets are good for; bulbing Theology and settling.

    edit: almost forgot shrines lol

That does sound very nice, and the Lambada is definitely music I associate with Brazil, so it would make a good change if you ask me.

I've brought this up before, but on the subject of certain unique buildings:

    Madrassa

    +25% science
    +2 scientist slots
    +2 priest slots

Already a middling UB in the vanilla game, it's rendered entirely worthless by the fact that Arabia starts in Fanaticism, and therefore the extra Priest slots are totally worthless. You want Great Priests in the early game to create your shrine and possibly bulb techs. By the time an Arabian player would normally switch out of Fanaticism, priests are no longer of any real use.

    I therefore suggest this:

    Madrassa

    +25% beakers
    +2 scientist slots
    +Counts as an Islamic building

Arabia's gameplay is focused around powerful wonders such as the Spiral Minaret and the University of Sankore. This change fits with the flavor of Arabia, as well as synergizing with gameplay with a unique and cool effect.

More suggestions coming at some point.
