Oh, you mean the difference between Representation and Egalitarianism? In my opinion the interpretation of civics also depends on all the other civics you have selected, but in general Representation is more like the 18th century enlightenment idea of democracy where political power is shared between one priviliged group of upper nobility or wealthy elite while the political influence of the masses is limited, while Egalitarianism is more about modern liberal democracy with stuff like universal suffrage and government efforts to ensure equal rights for everyone in actuality and not just on paper.

No, they weren't. That is very specifically the point of Egalitarianism.

That's so exploitable that I wouldn't have the AI agree to it under any circumstances anyway.

I have a few 2 things to say about the Indian civ:

Could you make the Indian civ color orange like Carthage in BtS? (This is just personal preference and I don't know if anyone else agrees with me but I really don't like pink as the color for India.

And also could there be a playable Indian spawn for the 1700 AD scenario? Mughal's historical area does not cover the entire Indian subcontinent and AFAIK there's no Gandhi for the Mughals. Besides in most games, the British don't ever destroy the Mughals and India never spawns.

    Thanks!

The India situation is certainly not optimal right now.

Spawns at different dates in different scenarios are currently not possible, but I will look into that in the future, because there seems to be quite the benefit from that:
    - India in 600 and 1700 AD
    - Italy in 1700 AD with a 1861 AD spawn
    - Mexico in 1700 AD
    - Iran and Colombia in 600 AD
    - Egypt in 600 AD and 1700 AD in case I do a medieval version for them

    1) By the way, why are Iran, Mexico and Colombia respawns and not separate civs? Is it that difficult to separate them. Besides, it creates some problems.
    2) Shouldn't India be alive in 600 AD?

Rename Imam to something else. They represent the 12 or 4 Imams (depending on beliefs) that followed the legacy of Mohammad or sometimes,Very very religious and prestigious people. Not missionaries.

According to Wikipedia: An imam is an Islamic leadership position. It is most commonly in the context of a worship leader of a mosque and Muslim community by Sunni Muslims. I believe you are refering to Shia Imams.
Also most of the missionary names are just the priest position. Since other religions don't call their missionaries missionaries.

I do, somewhat (well, I care about the representation of Hindus in the north of the peninsula). Always found it strange that DoC turned India the civ into Greece/Rome of South Asia even in 3000BC start.

The Palas are collapsed by the Mughal spawn, so why are they important in this context?

    *Cathedral: Metropolis
    *Monastery: Monasterion/Mone/Moni (Μονή)
    *Missionary: Ierapostolos/Ierapostol
