suggestions on new game for first time player

Hello I am hoping for some suggestions on starting a new game, preferably normal sized map for a new play to this mod. I am only seeing one map option when I click on scenario.

How do most of you go about with your new game settings, especially regarding the map?

Welcome on DoaNE General_Jah,
First of all, I never use scenario map.
I would recommend you to create a normal game with New_World map (it should be written that it is the best map for DoaNE), I frequently choose "huge map" size.
