I'm glad they removed the rage-quit AI bug,
but the way the empire is auto-managed makes me think the AI isn't too capable.
The auto-worker and city AI is destructing my empire
My entire landmass is covered with unworked trade posts because my empire is being starved to death by its own workers and so I have no people to work those tiles anyway
The worker AI doesn't seem to take into account what I set for the city focus (production/culture etc) and seems to just build what it thinks would be the strongest tile improvement,
So I did a civics slingshot to the one that gives you research for trade posts..
I have a city that has 2 deer and a sheep resource next to it, undeveloped, but the worker rushes over to build a trade post on an unworked tundra tile south of the city.
Hah!
What I suggest for a fix is that workers first take into account what the city is set to (growth etc) and build the most appropriate improvement.
Secondly, that WORKED TILES HAVE PRIORITY over unworked tiles excepting strategic resources.
Also:
Great people production..
As soon as I got libraries the city bosses decided to immediately stagnate the city and remove its production and gold making by staffing all my libraries fully.
If the AI does that.... ..... urgh...
