my recollection on my minimal MP experience is it depends on the type of MP...more aggressive MP Expansive is a top trait, and anything military

In long play FFA games yes....in teamers or aggressive rules Expansive is def the tops. Most MP I played was the latter type. Leaders like Shaka were coveted.
