Superheroes!

10pm also means lower veiwership. So that's a problem.
I don't know if that matters anymore. Does anyone actually watch shows live these days? Does anyone lack the ability to watch something later if it's on at an inconvenient time? And if so, are those people watching Agents of SHIELD? Maybe. I dunno.

Is there a ten PM drop off in the lucrative demographics that advertisers really care about? I don't really think so, but I can't say for a fact either way.

Marvel had Ghost Rider's car at SDCC. I'm not a car guy, but I read that it's a '69 Charger. Looks pretty sweet to me, whatever it is.

(Not a spoiler, a big image.)

So season 2 of Legends of Tomorrow will feature The Legion of Doom: Malcolm Merlyn, Damien Dahrk, The Reverse Flash, and Captain Cold. Um. Er. Hmm. Okay, I guess.

It doesn't exactly leap off the page, does it?

So far, my interest in Malcolm Merlyn kind of hinges on his relationship with Thea Queen (and I guess the fact that I liked Barrowman in Torchwood). My interest in Damien Dahrk hinges on... um... Nothing. I have no interest in Damien Dahrk. The Reverse Flash was alright, but this won't be Harrison Wells, this will be Eobard Thawn, so he's an unknown commodity. Captain Cold is a former ally of the Legends, and while I didn't watch all of season 1 there's at least some history there.

No mention of Gorrilla Grodd. I'm hoping he's just being kept secret and he's actually the mastermind of the group. No mention of many of the other classic members of the Legion, they being tied up with heroes that aren't in the CW-verse. I'm fine with that. But... no women. If it were me, I'd get Danielle Panabaker to reprise Killer Frost (it's a comic book, nobody ever really dies).

That DC universe on the CW has pretty well run it's course for me. I don't really see anything that appeals to me to watch it further.

So whatsisname Sarandos from Netflix confirmed one of my fears, while he was at the TCAs: Netflix's Marvel shows will continue the 2-a-year schedule, at least for the next couple of years. So season 2 of Jessica Jones will be a full three (3!) years after season 1, at the earliest. Likewise, season 3 of Daredevil also won't happen any sooner than 2018. If the do The Punisher or anything else, a 2nd season of Luke Cage wouldn't debut until... I dunno... 2019, I suppose. Yeesh. :(

Suicide Squad is getting ripped to shreds. It's getting lower scores than Ghostbusters and Star Trek Beyond, both of which were uninspired action movies that failed to take advantage of their material, pretty much across the board. Ouch.

They move to the CW and all of a sudden they have a license to Superman? Cool.
