SuperNES I: Gods Among Us

Four men laughed, drunken, shouting as they left the bar.

Please, stop.

He isn't responding well to this.

They stumbled, as they walked down the street, laughing, joking.

Please, stop.

Do you think I care?

One of the men stopped to take a piss, but the others pushed him over.

Why aren't you listening to me

Our responsibility isn't to this boy, it's to our mission!.

They gathered themselves, and continued on their way.

What are you doing!

But this isn't right!

Another step closer.

Don't do this!

Pff, right? Don't get moral on me. Science has no room for emotion!

Another step closer.

Please, no.

He might be permanently damaged mentally

Another step closer.

You're making a mistake!

Another step closer.

What if we can't control him?

Another step closer.

You're making the voices louder!

Oh don't worry dear.

The men stopped as they saw a homeless man shrieking on the ground.

STOP THE VOICES

A slash through the air.

YOU MADE THE VOICES LOUD

A chain of blood through the man's neck.

YOU MADE THE VOICES ANGRY

He injected the needle

Blood rushing from the homeless man, impaling the other men.

THEY'RE SO ANGRY

The fluids went into the body

STOP DOING THIS TO ME

He screamed

He screamed

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Don't worry dear. We can always control him.

The rats were having a feast from the corpses. Sometimes he liked to make them dance. When the voices were gone, that's when he felt most at peace. He didn't feel angry or scared. He felt content. He didn't even feel cold. The rats looked at him expectantly as they finished the first corpses.

They know

They know not to touch the food until their master had taken what he wanted. The blood on the walls and streets were unneeded, but from the body...that was still warm. He leaned over the man, and found the piercing cut he made through the body. So much blood. He slurped it in anticipation, savoring every drop. It wasn't so long ago that only his blood was what he wanted. He was growing...growing. His powers were getting stronger, and even expanding. He made rats and birds do tricks for him, but if he did, once he released them they'd scurry away, free from their spell.

hisssssss

He shuddered. He had been here for too long. He stumbled out of the alleyway.

I won't let the voices catch up to me. I WONT

He didn't know where he was walking.

All he wanted was to be somewhere where the voices just couldn't find him.

OOC: Gonna have to drop this NES. Just not enough time to write up stories :(

Can I get my character approved so I can start writing stories?

March 10

Long ate his hotdog as he watched the baseball game intently, while Johnny Wu furiously scribbled a diagram of the stadium on a piece of paper. In front of them for rows and rows, hundreds of Americans watched the game intently, cheering and chanting loudly.

"So the man hits the ball with a stick, and then runs around the square?" Long asked.

"Pretty much, boss," said Wu "Only its called a bat and the square is a diamond."

"What is the difference?"

"Search me, boss."

"What a ridiculous game."

"Give me kung-fu any day."

Long bit into the hot dog again, and grimaced. "This meal is disgusting. Why do we have to eat this garbage?"

"To fit in, boss. Everybody eats hot dogs at baseball games," Wu replied.

"Why is it called a dog? Is it made of dog meat?"

Wu laughed. "Hah, I wish it was dog meat. Probably something much worse."

Long sighed. "Have you got the diagram done?"

"Yeah, but I'm not sure why we need it, boss."

"Let me do the thinking, Wu. Entrances and exits?"

"Clearly marked."

"Good. Chow and Sun should have mapped out the interior of the stadium by now. Let us leave, before I have to eat more of this warmed dog."

I wouldn't say no to a reboot.

I appreciate the interest, I have just been busy with the second half of this course, it'll be over in a month, and I thought I had gotten through the roughest part but now they've made me class leader so my time is pretty short. I do plan on continuing this NES because its something I've wanted to run for a long time, but my time is a little constrained and it makes updating difficult. Hopefully I will get an update up within the next couple of weeks, if not, after I graduate from this course.

I too would like this to continue. I had a whole comic-book plotline lined up and everything... :p

Well, I'm a bit stuck in this time/plot line and I have many other things going on. I am willing to go on, since Noir Babyface will be awesome. ;)
