I used to play Civilization when it first came out, then I moved onto II and now III.
Trouble is, somewhere along the way, what with upgrading, moving house etc, I've lost my copy of the original.
Now, surely by now the publishers have made sufficient money on the original to allow it to become a free download - especially if you've bought one of the newer versions.

Do you really think that game manufacturers think there is such a thing as 'suffiicient money'?

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a triple pack of Civ someday soon.

Where I live (The Netherlands) Civ1 and Colonization are still being sold for about 4 or 5 euro so that's almost for free......
