Just pump up Rock Bands and name them ABBA.

Edit: Looks like Sweden will struggle in buying Rock Bands since they are not faith-based civ.

That's a game mechanic. I'm asking if there's any historical inspiration behind the mechanic.

It's probably due to the fact that Skansen in Stockholm is divided on the basis of the counties of Sweden, and Sweden has a fairly varied climate due to being such a long country. The museum's northern area will have reindeer roaming around and buildings related to the challenges of that particular region (like a storage house built up on a tree to keep the bears away), while the southern ones will look completely different (storage houses built far below the earth to keep the Danes away).

Everything goes! He who doesn't drink it all, he neither gets half! *drinks* :crazyeye:

The list of buildings or districts that could be considered somewhat unique to Sweden isn't that long, and the skans is one of the more distinct ones.

No not as far as I know of but the museum itself is outdoors so the terrain do matters. But why for example a grassland museum would be stronger because you have a city in the snow, that seems to be a gameplay mechanic.

Perhaps she likes leaders with more diplomatic favor? I'm not sure what else she would get since Pedro has the great people thing.

I bet she is an art collector. She hates people with more great works.

How about not liking civs that have more great works than her and likely civs that stay away from great works?

Yikes. Well the artists certainly stayed true to the portraits this time.

I believe we can hear her Agenda Approval at the end of the FL vid. Any Swedes (or Norwegians) willing to translate that? :p

Imagine if her agenda goes like "Likes civs with themed buildings". Every civ will then not go so well with her.

Interesting. Not what i expected... It seems like their biggest strength will come from the open air museum, any idea when it unlocks from the reveal? I didn't spot anything.

That is a lot of culture and tourism in every city... It seems like Sweden will probably have a very dispersed empire, and need to settle close to other civs so the loyalty bonus might not be a negligible advantage...

I quite like peaceful civs, and I enjoy games that make the later eras, so my first impression is that Sweden will be fun to play, and probably the civ most comparable in power level would be Kongo? Extra production/money/gwam from nkisi vs a huge boost of extra culture from the museum?

Something about being host to an art gallery, and you are invited.
