Here's the best way how to get rich:

Start a war with a small Civ and destroy all their cities but one. Then offer them a peace treaty for 999999999 Gold per Turn.

This really worked a few times!!
Well, the game wasn't so exciting after that cause I bought all the cities of the other Civs .

Don't complain if it doesn't work, maybe its just a bug in my game but its still worth a try...

I know something like this was found out about in the beginning back in November.
But I know that it was fixed in the 1.16f patch.
Are you using any patches or are you playing civ 3 as it was released?

LLLLOOOLLLLL ill try this, but i have the 1.17 patch so i dont know if this still works.

lol also where the **** did that small civ found 9999999 gold to give away every turn?

The thing is that the Civ hasn't got no 99999999 Gold but you still get it.
And yes i'm playing the first release. But I don't think this is something that should of been fixed
