(Switch bug) ever since random update game is unplayable

( don't know if this forum accepts switch bug, can't find right place for it)

There was a random update available for Switch civ. I updated it and after it the game keeps on saying there is an update available. When I press OK, it just asks the same question over and over. When I ignore it I can't play Maya/Grand Colombia pack. I already sent tickets but I haven't received any answer. I am desperate so I am posting here as well. Don't tell me switch version is broken beyond repair.

Same here. When the dialog box opens I can't select refuse/accept boxes. I'm on switch 1.2.4 (195757). It wasn't a problem until mid game and feels like the switch is not picking up the accept reject buttons any more. I can still use R and L to change deal details, I just can't choose to accept or reject the deal. If I press B repeatedly then eventually I can reject. It's like there's no responsiveness on the button.
