Switching religion and civics simultaniously?

If I for example found taoism with a bulb and I want to switch to taoism and pacifism at once, is this possible? I really hate the two times anarchy right now.

if you're spiritual you can change both on the same turn. or if you have the CR wonder. other than that, no.

Bummer, was afraid of that. I don't have BtS yet. Mostly now I get a religion and adopt it. Then you get the revolution but most of the times I forget to switch the civics after it. Or I do get the civics and forget to change the religion Thx for the info Kmad.

well look on the bright side ... at least you do it in the right order. if you change the civic first, and then forget to change the religion, you'd be wasting money all those turns for civic upkeep!

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one! The sad thing was that I was still producing so many beakers that I didn't even notice the lack of Rep until I ran into the happy wall and wondered where the +3 happy went.

Rofl, I have done that too many times myself. It was something like 1 AD and I saw all the red faces popping up and thought to myself why do I have red faces with repres..........oh crap.......viva la revolution!!!!

In my current game I built the Pyramids and then went on to research monarchy for HR.

Guilty of this one myself. I just told myself that I did it to make wine. Didn't have any vines in my territory so I raided my rack and opened a bottle of red. My wife didn't quite understand why but had no objections.
