I'm curious if there's any interest in expanding the unique bonuses of the base unit types in civ. Feel free to post your own suggestions, but here are some examples of what I'm thinking:

Melee:
  • +5 CS for attacking from ambush (woods or jungle to non woods or jungle)
Ranged:
  • +10 ranged CS attacking from greater elevation (hill to non hill)
  • -10 ranged CS attacking into woods or jungle
Cavalry (all):
  • -10 CS when in woods or jungle
All
  • +5 CS attacking from greater elevation (hill to non hill)
  • Units that move from jungle, woods or marsh into jungle, woods or marsh become invisible until they move out of this terrain type or they attack a unit
Another similar project that might be fun would be to give every UU in the game a unique upgrade. An example might be Testudo for Legion, which grants them an even better defense vs ranged units.
