Ever since reading Tanizaki's story about the girl with the spider tatoo (japanese short tale), i was interested, even if mildly, in this art.
Recently the small circle of multinational authors i am part of shared a series of photos of morbid tatoos. Here is one of them:
Although i could not see myself getting such a thing, i would suspect that when the person is old, and in some old people's home, the nurse may be quite frightened from what she will discover in his back
What is your view of tatoos? Do you have any? Would you like to have, in case you do not? Do you regard them as potentially high art?
You can post your own favourites as well, just as long as there is some discussion and not merely image posting
