    Cologne - Move Noyan First Maulers (MACEMEN) to forest tile north of Essen Iron, and fortify.

    Cologne - Boyan Heavy Cavalry moves between the Golden Hill East of Berlin and Cologne, scouting for German forces, only attacking if odds are 80 % plus.

    Battle of Stuttgart

    Move Golden Battlewaggons from EA to Stuttgart, move Noyan First Stormers, Noyan Second Stormers and Boyan Heavy Cavalry up to Stuttgart and await for Noyan Amputators, also send the Golden Battlewaggons, since we intend to patrol the area around stuttgart.
    Promote the Noyan Second Stormers with City Raider. Attack Stuttgart with city Raider first, then Noyan First Stormers, then Noyan Amputators (AXEMEN) and then Boyan Heavy Cavalry (KESHIK), worst case scenario, follow up with Golden Battlewaggons

    RAZE ESSEN

    Following battle:

    Move the Noyan Second Steppe Infantry (Axemen guarding Essen Iron) to the proposed site of Methos, and guard it so no German or Barbarian city springs up there.

    Move all the units in razed Essen to Berlin. This way people get the right to vote for a continued German War after the peace has ended, or to consider a Roman War.

    Golden Battlewaggons will occupy ruined Stuttgart, to avoid barb cities to spring up

    Another surviving Axeman from Stuttgart will occupy La Drang until barb city is gone, or culture overlap arrives.

    The remainder of the army, Boyan Heavy Cavalry and the last remaining axeman (not the one staying in La Drang), go all the way to Cologne. and stay there.

    There will only be new catapults, and they can be numbered by the series they are made in. I suggest Collateral Promotions for all of them, and now we name them "Gravelthrower 1+ and up" for the collateral promotion.

    EA: Grocer, Bank. Free specialist as merchant or scientist, depending on whether we need gpt or beakers more.

    Ainu: Market, Forge. Free specialist as citizen (only choice). Switch one citizen from lake to citizen specialist to shorten Market time. Stagnating growh is OK.

    Cologne: Start a courthouse when it comes out of resistance. Connect roads and pasture on the cow if a worker is available.

    Munich: Insert FP ahead of market, if the poll indicates it should be built here. Free specialist as engineer, MM to maximize hammers / minimize time spent on FP. Workers should build improvements which help with hammers or chop to improve FP.

    Berlin: Courthouse, market. Free specialist as engineer.

    The DP may optimize MM and specialist usage within the guidelines of emphasizing hammers where requested unless the economy demands otherwise.

    And can we PLEASE get some missionaries out to the cities which don't have Confucianism? Perhaps Coppertown could crank out a few while waiting for HE to be available?

    We have completed the Forbidden Palace and the Heroic Epic, we've researched Literature and we have adopted Vassalage :)cry:) and Mercantilism :))). Our research is going pretty decently now. However we're now suffering from quite severe war-weariness and Julius decided to stop supplying us with fur. All cities are now confucianist

    The German War
    We've razed Essen, the Barbarian city, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf (a city the Germans settled 1N of Essens ruins. It didn't last long :devil:). We lost a couple of units, including 2 axes in the assault on Stuttgart and a maceman in the assault of La Drang, but defeated more units. Because of the losses at Stuttgart, some macemen had to come from Essen to raze La Drang. It might now be time to make peace with the Germans (that's the reason I stopped) as they're offering Compass and their capital is quite heavily defended.


    One big happy family?
    Were you fearing one big happy family with Mansa, Gandhi and the likes on the other continent? Luckily, you were wrong. We have met a caravel from Montezuma. Looking at his power graph showed us that he had been fighting a war. And looking at his city list shows us a city called Osaka. So that's Toku and Monty on the other continent. Here's a screenie of the trade screen with Monty. He also has the Great Library and the Great Lighthouse, however the Great Library is not in his capital, so he might have captured it.

    Good work Dutchfire; this turn we really made some strides. About vassalage, since we now dominate a continent alone, we can afford to specialize even more. This means, we can "outspend" the other continent economically and militarily, like US did with Soviet in the 80s.
