I agree with Jarrema, Visorslash's attitude is pretty poor, but I don't think that warrants a lynch vote...at least not yet. If more of the players on Visorslash's hitlist show up dead and innocent however, I will be more than willing to cast a vote for him.

Pretty poor? I honestly am not seeing it here. We force the scum to post more and with more content, increasing the chance they slip up. It also forces townies to do the same, giving more opinions. All we are doing is culling dead weight. And scum like to lurk.

Well, CivCube was lynched and has been on Visorslash's hit list on his signature for quite some time before he changed his signature shortly after the update. I'd think that's grounds for suspicion.

Getting all the players to be more active in the game is beneficial, of course. But, "culling dead weight" means altering the townie:mafia ratio in RED's favor, and the last thing any of us should want. Now, I have no idea how we could go about putting pressure on lurkers without placing suspicion on them or killing them off. If we can figure out some way of getting our comrades more involved without inadvertently giving RED any sort of edge, that would be preferable. Granted, I don't know how we could go about doing that. Thinking about it makes regret bringing it up...I feel like I might be talking in circles and confusing myself.

Well that the problem, just because they have a good reason to vote for someone in the thread, we don't know if they are telling the truth. People can BS all the time to make them sound good, when it it utter crap. That is the whole point of the game. just think that you should keep such lists personal until further into the game, when you have had more chance to study peoples behaviour.

Yes, but if they want to avoid the hitlist, they have to post some kind of reasoning, even if it is utter crap, and we can pick up on that anyway.
For example DarthNader's post above saying that we're culling the dead weight doesn't consider the possiblity of lurking scum which if true, sounds like PIS to me.
