I favor a singular, single word acronym or noun. HOS and ISIS fit that description, the other two don't.

When making a choice like this, I put "Team" in front of it, and try to work it into a diplomatic treaty.

ISIS and SANCTA agree...
HOS and Kazakhstan agree...
The Historian Republic and Saturn agree...
The Mad Scientists and Cavaleiros agree...

The last two aren't as bad if you toss "the" in front like in the examples.
