After two weeks of suggesting team names, let's vote! The options are from the name thread which got some support.

    The theme's:

Scientific (Team name: Mad scientists (or ISIS?))
    Comics (Team name: Marvel(?))
    Historical
    Sci-fi

4 votes from 3 voters, multichoice , ok

    btw
I think we should make polls open, with names, because often there are voter who want to change their vote. Then this can better make.

To have the poll be public, a new one has to be set up.

But why don't we list all the options, rather than break them down into categories that would then require a second vote?

    Short Description: [CERN]

:crazyeye: Not every suggestion has been worked out fully. And voting between all suggestions would be too many (about 20 I guess). So I don't know how to get to a team name, any other suggestion is welcome.

idk but I think that's the best option on the table. I think the civ name should relate to the civilization and who we are and not just a theme.

    lol, where's the "Woodsmen"?

So we are history already? ;)

So what will the team name be then?

Still going for Mad Scientists.. Even relates to civilization. At least the way I play it...

As far as I know, we can change everything but the short team name in-game.
The only one which is really a permanent choice is the forum name.

I like the institutional version of ISIS the best.

So far it seems there is more support for the team name to be ISIS than any of the other options.

Is anyone strongly against our team name being ISIS?

If you are against it, please suggest a name that you prefer. I'm actually surprised how long it has taken us to get this done :old:

If we can at least agree to that, we can choose the leader name and civ names by the end of the week (just to set a deadline ;))

Mmm... strongly against? .... It's more that I am strongly in favor of "Mad Scientist".

It's just about ISIS: i do not really relate to that name (i.e. it's not something I hear and then think: "YES" that is who we are. in fact it doesn't "say" anything to me)

And I agree it takes quite some time... (and this post doesn't help)

But if this is really the majority vote (which I doubt (as historical got the most votes)) then we should ofcourse go for it.
