Tech path for 13 affinity levels

Transcendence, Emancipation, Promised Land. 13 affinity levels. A couple levels from quests and progenitor ruins, the rest from research.

Research is your limitation. Only need one good production city, probably your capital. If your capital is poor, you're not winning quickly anyway.

1) I want to speed up by XP-counting. Considerations:

1a) In theory, there is a research path that get the required XP with fewest beakers required.
1b) Off that path, some non-affinity techs are essential if your colony even gets anywhere.
1c) For early techs, the increase in off-path beakers is more than compensated by increased research.
1d) For late techs, the number of turns left before victory means you won't get your investment back.

2) Might virtue that gives +20% affinity points, is it worth it?

2a) Go there: need fewer techs, generate fewer beakers because useless virtues.
2b) Don't go there: need more techs, generate more beakers.

I need help. Thank you.
 
2a isn't entirely accurate. If you at least have a point in any affinity send out two marines to mop up aliens.... for science! Through that virtue is almost mandatory on your way to the affinity virtue anyway.
