so what kinda African civ/tribe has a name like "Alienx"?

Although your suggestion is "historically accurate", that doesn't always make a difference in Civ. They'd probably make themselves creative because of "gameplay reasons".

Ah, that's where you're wrong, El Koeno. Financial and Imperialistic are two of the best trait combos in the game, making Firaxis good in both history and gameplay. Coupled with their overpowered UU, the Pillaging Programmer (18 , 3 , replaces Worker, +50% gold from pillaging) and their massive UB (Assimilation center; replaces market, +200% , +1000% religion spread if you have the Civilization religion) they're a game-breaking civ. Hoo-rah!
