Temp Internet files

Ok could someone please tell me how to acess the temp internet files in winxp? As I get to the folder but nothing is in there. And it is getting rather annoying.

Tools, Internet Options, Temporary Internet Files, Setttings. It'll show you where the files and cookies are kept. I believe the files are kept in a hidden folder, so you'll have to un-hide it prior to being able to see the files.

You can right-click on your HDD in 'my computer', and choose 'properties'. On the screen that shows you your hard-drive usage, there is a button for 'disk-cleanup'. Click on that, and it shows you how much space can be saved by deleting files => one option is to delete the temporary internet files.

Doing so now thanks. Reason I am doing this is that I could not see some response at another forum because the internet files would show me what I saw the last time I was there. Became rather annoying.

Nope. I hit the the reload button 5 times every time it happens but still no. I am lucky to be able to see some of the replies at times.

I think it hasn't anything to do with the temp files itself but with the settings for "search newer versions of site", instead of "automatic" I would choose "always"

So you can't find them, and must start a thread on CFC about it, thereby increasing your Post Count, obviously. LOL!

Hmm, I should dig through my Temp. Int. Files, and see how much crap there is in there . . .
