Propose something, then. I have considered Burgundy, Bordeaux and Champagne.

Well, first I have to say "Cabaret", since that was my idea. But next, why not one of the wines (the ones you mentioned, sans champagne) or Normandy?

Umm, the new CoL article on appointed positions has not been ratified yet. FYI, confirmation polls are no longer required, but any citizen can post a poll asking for the appointment to be voided. See this poll for text of the proposed appointment process.
