Term 3 – Election for Chief Justice

The Chief Justice is part of the Judicial Branch along with the Public Defender and Judge Advocate, and is tasked with upholding, clarifying and reviewing all changes to the Constitution and its supporting laws through Judicial Reviews, and upholding the rights of all citizens through Investigations. The Judiciary will carry out all its tasks in a fair, impartial, public and speedy manner.

The Chief Justice shall have the additional responsibility to organize and conduct the affairs of the Judicial Branch.

Bootstoots is the only candidate and wins unopposed

Thank you everyone! I'm glad to be our next Chief Justice, especially given that I'd seeked that position several times since the start of DG3 but never quite gotten it. Hopefully it'll be a productive term free of large quantities of CC's.

BTW, this would be a good time to state that I'll be gone for around 48 hours, from the 29th of September to the 1st of October. I'll start up the Judicial thread as soon as I can on the 1st.
