Term 4 Wonder Building Policy

[MOTH]

The purpose of this poll is to determine our government's policy pertaining to the building of great wonders. The building of small wonders will be based on individual polls as each nears availability.

The options are:
1. Build no wonders - we can show our skill by winning without wonders
2. Build all possible wonders - we can show our greatness by building wonders
3. Build limited wonders - only to aid in fighting culture wars in border regions or for the specific advantages provided by the wonder
4. Other - state your preference
5. Abstain - nuf said

The culture ministry recommends we build all possible wonders.

IMPORTANT: This poll will be binding for all of Term 4 as long as a 37% quorum is obtained in this poll. Polls on individual wonders will still be made, but some options in these polls will need to overide this policy by obtaining a quorum and at least 55% of votes cast to override.

Example: if #3 wins then the option to build a wonder in our core would need to override to suceed. An option to build in a border town would not need to override.

This is multiple choice. Choose whichever policies that are acceptable to you.

We should go for Magellans wonder since we got a strong naval interest in our game, but should refrain from Evolution Theory and Universal Suffrage, so we get some challenge there.

I say we build as many Wonders as we can in the next Term. Some of the best Wonders in the game are just around the corner, and it would be a shame for us to neglect them. Let us be a shining beacon to the rest of the world! Let us display our glorious culture for all to see! Let us build Wonders!!

So let me get this straight, you think there's a strong chance Japanatica will lose this game if we give up on Wonders and let the AI build the rest. Seriously, this is what you think, Oct? This is the challenge you are referring to? Please explain....

And I don't understand why this is a multiple choice poll. It makes all the options rather weak.

Limited Wonders. this game is already a foregone conclusion for us, so we shouldn't go nuts.

I love Hoover as the best wonder of this age because it wipes out a lot of my pollution problems for me. Closely followed by TOE (to get Hoover). Universal Suffrage is nice but not required.

Universal Suffrage is a challengekiller, as it reduces the need to plan the military well.
I really do not want this wonder.
