The governor is in charge of posting build queues before every set of turns are played and for general administration of that province. The governor is also a member of the Senate, whos approval is required for all changes to the Constitution.

Please Accept or Decline any nominations you receive.

    Yours,
    The Election Office

What the heck, I haven't been a governor yet, there are no candidates yet, and how hard can it be to have a queue of cav, infantry, arty, cav, inf, arty. ;-)

    I nominate myself and accept.

Well, I have to admit I don't even know what the cities currently have, as I've been so buried at work that civ is down to 5 hours a week or less. My usual approach to getting improvements in while also pursuing a warlike goal is to have 1-2 cities take a break from military production periodically and squeeze in an improvement. When they finish, they go back to units and some other cities get to do improvements.

I'd also like to experiment with a little thing I call asking the people. :D

Unfortunately I must decline this nomination as I'm running for President.

I'm sure you'll make a good governor DaveShack!
