A sentencing poll has been posted for Chieftess PI Part V.
Hopefully we can get a Judge Advocate this term so that if I get elected Chief Justice, I can get away from three straight terms of conducting PI's. By now I have practically memorized the Investigations section of the CoS.

There are two proposals on the table in the Senate Forum that try to ease the tension and misunderstanding of two current hot issues dealing with Workers. These are Tile Improvement and Worker Actions.
Niether one of these proposals would make a "change" in our laws. They would merely solidify and clarify the existing laws. There has been a large amount of disagreement as to the meaning of the two laws in question and these additions would help not only the citizens, but the Judiciary understand just what the laws implicate. No specific duties are eliminated by these proposals and the authority of the DP has not been deminished. By extending the writings of each law, the intent of the law is more pronounced and made easily understandable to the citizens of Fanatika. Both of these additions are needed at this time.
The proposals have been discussed in the Senate Forum and in the CoL thread in the Citizen's subforum for quite some time now. The Proposed CoL Amendments proposals (listed below) have been posted in the same thread for 24 hours. There was a slight change brought on by a request from Shaitan, this request was accepted and added to the proposals.
I would now request Judicial Review of the 2 proposals below. I would also like to request assistance in the posting of these proposals in poll form for the Congress to vote on.

It would allow the Governor of the city that produced the Worker to name the one improvement the Worker must do before it is released to the National Work Force. This would be called "earmarking" a Worker.

@ Cheetah - That Summary written by 40J is written incorrectly. He bunched 3 & 4 together and gave you the Trial status of #4, but gave you the Sentencing Poll for #3. Trial staus for #4 was innocent so no Sentencing Poll was needed. PI #3 found Chieftess guilty, so it did move on to the Sentencing Poll, where a sentence of No Punishment was found to be appropriate. 40J just needs to correct his Summary.

@ Shaitan - The reason these proposals were presented to the Judiciary is two fold. 1. I saw the proposals that were put together by the Senate being transformed into something other than they were meant to be. The Senate presented the proposals to the Citizens looking for discussion on them. As Speaker of the House, I expected heavy criticism as some people don't want any restrictions on the DP during game play. But I didn't expect the document to be shanghai'd.
2. The discussion had died down. It seemed that the same citizens how were critical of the proposals were now abandoning the topic. After lengthy discussion in the Senate Forum, I'm sure everyone was aware of the proposals. The thread in the Citizen's subforum had been around the top for a couple of days, so I'm sure most people who came to that subforum saw it. As it began to sink in the list, I knew it was time to move it forward. And this is what I've done. I will review the new suggestions you have made, but i wonder if after we introduce any new suggestions you've made if after waiting until they're written into the proposal, you will change your mind again and say that they are foolish. We really don't have that kind of time on our hands. I also see nothing wrong with a lengthy clarification of the law. This deals with the CoL, not the Constitution. We don't have a need to be vague with the CoL. The reason for these proposals is to clarify the law, that the Judiciary has trouble defining. Law that the Governors and the President seem at odds on. Laws that need to be lengthy to help explain the true meaning of Article E of the Constitution.

Well, I don't know about the rest of the Judiciary, but I'll consider that a confession of guilt. Hence, thanks to our newest standard concerning confessions, I move for immediate sentencing on the crime of neglecting one's duties as governor.
