    Quote the part of whomp where he says they are not trading with them and then show them that part that kuningas posted. Now ask Mr Whomp what exactly is going on. "we may be able to get passed this oversight and work with you guys if you gift us a tech."

    Seriously....NO more trades with piffle unless they are very favorable to us.

    Well the trade relationship was the same the previous turns, remember Piffle got Currency off Epsilon and i get the feeling Construction too although that wasn't mentioned explicitly.

    The most telling thing is the last letter Epsilon sent, which i posted on the forum yesterday(in case you missed it), in which they said there is no point offering Music as they will finish researching it in a few turns.

    My bet, Epsilon offer Piffle Music and Compass for Philo. If you want to double check just offer to trade piffle music;)

    I disagree on putting it in Aloha... here is why.

    Where ever you put it should build nothing but troops no gold/sci enhancing builds. Otherwise you are in essence not using it to its fullest. Sure it will produce alot when couple with Bueracracy. I rather build the iron works in aloha along with Oxford to enhance our space race chances. You couple heroic epic with west point in order to get the most out of the builds.

    Unless we plan on just building troops in Aloha...we should put heroic epic in another city...thats just my opinion and i am willing and want to here why others disagree with my above reasons...just because i want to know how to do better in my own games.

    Without pop rush Hanging Gardens is finished in 4 turns. I can whip it on turn 130 after we have founded Konnichiwa, better to start making our wonder announcement :goodjob:

    Heroic Theater combo is powerful in Aloha. There is plenty of food and hammers, but not many tiles that can be cottaged. Only 6 or 11 if we cottage hills and food resources. I fail to see any other city that could profit as much as Aloha. Furthermore we need units if we do declare of war on Piffle. Oxford/wall Street are not currently of interest to us.

    I like to hear more citizen opinions.

    Oxford would be fairly useless in Aloha due to as kuningas said the lack of cottageable tiles, oxford works best where every single tile is a cottage, which maybe could be hello (can't remember the map so well) however we would need to detroy any existing cottages for farms but i agree out of our cities so far it looks the best.

    We can combine iron works and west point in another city if need be for further unit production.

    OK I tend to agree with that.

    I keep forgetting we dont have a gold rich capital unless we work all sea tiles. AGAIN if we do this then Aloha has to be units almost exclusively.

    Good news on the HG, if we can settle Konnichi Wa before its built then even better:goodjob:

    As for the debate at the moment, i guess its time to not just look at Aloha but all the cities and future cities and what there purpose will be.

    Aloha or Hej could have the Globe theater- Heroic combo. Aloha has an edge at the moment with beauro running but that wont always be the case. A third option could be Alegra which is surrounded by hill but doesn't have the food so its not the best. The other thing with Aloha and Hej is since they a good enough production we could pump them out without whipping, then a west point - heroic combo would be even better.

    Also one more thing, Ironworks wont be as valueable because there is no iron so it will only be half effective. And for all we know Sirian might not have put any coal either.

    Anyway here is my idea for what each city could do.

    Aloha - Multi purpose. Got high numbers in all areas, could be switched aroound to suit our needs at the time
    Hello- GP farm
    Hej- Military centre with either globe - heroic or westpoint - heroic
    Kia Ora - Commerce
    Privet- Secondary military centre (army)
    Ciao - Commerce, might be a good spot for oxford- wall street combo
    Konnichi Wa- Commerce
    Guten Tag- Commerce
    Allegra- Secorary military centre (navy)

    I decided to take screenshots of our cities. Notice especially Hej, the HG will be built in 3 turns. Last picture is the demographics, we are mediocre at best. Military units (power graph) is lacking maybe I build a couple of maceman soon.

    I agree with your reasoning, Robi. Thought I would not build Globe in a city where is low food yield. Only high food yield there is currently is in Aloha. That would be case for a long time. That can change when we discover Biology, so it's not agenda of the moment.

    Argee with the Globe. I was just throwing different ideas out there to stimulate some thinking in the team;)

    The reason our demographics seem poor is because of our low population we can't maintain all the areas at the same time, something which the HG should help fix. Once we are on par with the rest pop wise the demographics will look much better.

    Also are you going to use the Artist to lightbulb Divine right, at a guess it would cut the research time in half

    So you held off whipping the HG huh, and not that long ago you couldn't to pop rushing it;).

    It all looks good, we would be unfortunate in the extreme to miss out on it in the turn in between. Demographics will look a lot better with 8 extra pop to work the tiles.
