Term 8 Governor's Council:

Cities:

Minister of the Interior GeorgeOP

1. The Governors may move any workers or garrison units assigned to them anywhere in there city's radius or state boundaries.
2. The Governor shall work with the Minister of the Interior to decide which improvement shall be built.
3. The Designated Player shall act as Governor of any cities build during his play session at the end of which, the office is declared vacant.
4. The Minister of the Interior shall be in control of all workers not assigned to Governors.
5. The Minister of the Interior shall designate any specialization of Cities
6. The Minister of the Interior shall designate how many units of each type to produce.
A. The Governors may work it out amongst themselves on which city actually produces what.
7. The Minister of the Interior may decide where to build any Citizens Assembly approved Wonder.
8. The Governors Council may veto the actions of any member of the Cabinet with a 6/10 (60%) majority.

Actually, I'd take either, or both.. I don't mind. Didn't ilr18 get displaced when the states were realigned? I'm sure he'd take the other one.

/edit I just saw the other thread. As the only governor member of the council, I approve ilr 18's application. Looks like it's just me and you, mate. If you do want Auda Minor, I will switch over to WestL... up to you.

Hey, your right so far it is just us :scared:, im sure at least one more will step up and be a Governor. You can take Auda Minor, because you wanted it first, and I would rather have West Licentia anyway.

IB. Powers and Duties of the Governors Council:
1. The Governors Council shall not exist until there are at least three Governors.


So if we dont get one more Governor there no Council?
 
I believe it was decided a long time ago "three governors positions"

Sorry, have been busy doing assignments.. yes I approve, Vind2.

Guys, I was thinking it might be an idea to post thoughts on each city here to kind of "bounce ideas around" so we can get back on track and get the most out of each city. It would also help the Moi allocate workers as the road problem becomes less of a ... problem.
Here's the cartograhpy office, if you need maps.

I'll start with my three:
Auda City: It just has terrible production, and not much food either. Unfortunately there is a cottage on the grass where I want a farm, and I don't feel comfortable ripping it out. I was thinking of putting a farm on the plain above the lake (so when we get CS irrigation will link thru the city tothe grass to the E), workshopping the other plains until everything is built, then cottage everthing that isnt a farm.

Toot: So many hills! It shouldn't really have any cottages, imo, but one was built on the river, and no matter what I say or do, I can't seem to get it replaced by a farm. If it isn't farmed, there can't be irrigation on the other grassland either, and it will never grow past 4 or 5. With 7 grass hilld and 1 plains hill, there is just enough grassland to make 9 farms for a production powerhouse.

Bascilica: Deep in the poo, you could say. A bit early (or late?) to think of what to do here, and will depend on Berlin's future.

So what do you think, guvnors?

I'll start with Basillica I think the next building that she be built there is a library or market it produces a good amount of gold, saying that its not to late to put two cottages on the grasslands north if basillica. If you irrigrate the three grasslands, two plains and two floodplains this city could be huge. I would keep the forest as it is. Then mine the two hills. The iron will be huge in production. When everything is done you should have 13 hammers. Also there is always the jungles if you want to hurry a building you can chop them.

Auda City: Here you need a courthouse. Them irrigrate the plains not the grasslands. Then with CS you can spread it to the grasslands above. You should keep one of the forests however because it helps with production. Once the city grows 5 more times, no other tiles on land can be worked. Thats not bad because for every water tile you get two food and two gold. So this city is a commerce city I cant see it as anything else.

Ok so now for my cities.

Abydos:This city could be good in both production and commerce, however there is an unhappiness problem. Also I need to irrigrate the plains and a couple of grasslands if it is to grow anymore. Once the next TC they will be starving. Also because it already produces a lot of gold, i think it could use 1 or 2 cottages.

Old Sarai: Myself and the mayor robboo have huge plans for the city. It could be a production powerhouse with 5 mines and iron. But it will grow not much further if I cant get a worker to irrirate the jungles south of old sarai. There wont be a problem with :mad: or :yuck: for awhile. Right now a horse archer is being built. After that will be a forge then a granary. These could be built fast if the jungles get chopped.

Const. Falls: This city is looking ok compared to other cities. It has good production, and can grow very easily. It has four cottages so it will produce more gold. I dont really have much of a problem with this city except the unhappiness, which im already takeing care of.
 
Our Empire is getting to be quite large. I will differ to governors with what will be done. I will just worry myself with how and with what workers to do the jobs. Here's what my (from reading your posts) goals are:

Finish building roads across the Empire
AC: Farm the plain above the lake, then workshop plains
Toot: Farm on that cottage. Should we pillage the cottage so we get some extra money out of it?
Bascilica: go cottage crazy on this town. We had them up but Germany turned them into gold.
OS: Chop jungles and irrigate
CF, BW, and MG don't seem to need any work right now.
 
Thats a good amount. More then I expected. George how many of those 11 workers are under your control?
 
The workers need to finsih the highway and then rebuild around the front lines with Germany. The road is teh single most important thign for gettign troops to the front quicker.
