Hi all,
I just made the leap to Civ6 after being a devoted player of Civ4. My first impression of the overall look and feel is pretty negative. I'm wondering if there are any modpacks like the old BlueEarth that completely overhaul the terrain graphics?

My biggest issue is that hills are too subtle. Half the time, I can't tell they're there until my unit runs out of movement on that tile. I also would prefer the black fog of war to the brownish parchment look they went for.

I also have some issues with the UI being so minimalist. However, I see a couple UI mods that I can try out.

I'm not familiar with some of the long-standing modpacks, so I'd appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Many thanks!

Try CQUI for a UI mod. Its a combination of a bunch of UI mods. Its by far the best mod and the first mod I install.
Community Quick User Interface - CQUI - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1125169247

There isn't any graphics mods yet, but I did come across these two yesterday.
Vibrant Waters (Prettier Water Textures) - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1472662589
Tsunami Waves: Lite Version - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1477315433
So I think with the two mods above there is hope for more graphic terrain to come in the future.

As far as the fog of war, there is a mod that tries to add back in the clouds from Civ5
Alternative Fog of War - Civ V Clouds - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1285127311&searchtext=clouds
There is also a Lite version of that mod.

Most of the mods I use are mostly visual ones.

Here is my collection on Steam:
Raven_2012 - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1337796922

If you have any questions about those mods, you can read them in more detailed or you can ask me on Steam: Raven_2012

Something important to add, if you use CQUI mod with Better Report Screen mod, you need to do this:

CQUI Note (from user DB)
To get this to work with CQUI, just delete the URS folder out of CQUI.
That folder controls their Unit Report Screen sub-mod, which conflicts with this one.
For me that folder was here:
C:\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\289070\1125169247\Integrations\URS

That info is found on the BRS description area.
