Just got Bootcamp up and running on my mac, installed civ IV, works fine, installed BTS, works almost fine.

All the new text is coming up as something along the lines of "Changed_text_new_no_trade" (not exactly but that's the gist of it)... Other than that the game works fantastically, but a lot of the BTS content makes no sense.

this seems to be a problem with xml files either corrupted or not working properly. what OS is running in Bootcamp (xp or vista?). Maybe this is a bootcamp problem though, so maybe someone with a mac who uses bootcamp can help better...

I can't imagine that there is anything special about BootCamp that could cause this. Bootcamp is just a set of device drivers that allow Windows to communicate with your Mac's hardware. It does nothing at the level of Windows application software.

It sounds like there is something wrong with the BtS installation, and I would suggest reinstalling it. FWIW, it runs with no problems in Windows XP SP3 here using Parallels.
