Thank You, from Firaxis!

Thank you! to all of you who play Civ. My name is Arthur Gould and I love working on this game and it really makes me smile every time I meet someone who plays and enjoys the game. I love that people get to be excited about their own culture and history as they play the game. You all are the best!

Thank you so much for joining me and all of the phenomenal musicians on the soundtrack as we’ve explored so many of the amazing musical traditions of the world. Your support, enthusiasm, and deep interest in the music for each civ has been a continual encouragement as we’ve worked on the music for each civ. Thank you for leaving the music on and being open to hearing the richly diverse music of the world!

Cheers to you for creating the, IMO, greatest gaming soundtrack I have heard in my life. :D

Mine is Peanut M&Ms. Frontier Pass was a lot of fun to work on with the range of Civs and modes we created for you.

Hello Civ Fans,

Thanks so much for being a part of the Civilization VI journey and for spending the past year exploring New Frontiers for our franchise. Your dedication has been very meaningful for us and your passion for improving our game invaluable. I have personally enjoyed so much of the content you have been sharing in our communities: your screenshots of amazing cities, your analysis of our civilizations, and your stories about our leaders.

I’m looking forward to working with all of you as our franchise moves ahead into the future. After all there are always Carlbarians cities to sack, cats to pet, and Civilopedias to open, right?

You guys are the best Ed. The pre release of Civ 6 in the summer of 2016 helped me cope with the recent loss of my father. It was the perfect distraction at my lowest point in life and would bring thousands of hours of enjoyment through gameplay and theory crafting. He would have loved it every bit as much as I do. I'm looking forward to what you and your team do next!

Cheers

Hi Civ fans! I'm Keaton VanAuken. As a long time Civ fan myself I was super excited to get the opportunity to become part of the Civ team through Ghostpunch Games. As a UI programmer I got to implement some of the cool UI from launch, expansions, and Frontier Pass for more than four years now! It has been awesome to see you all enjoy that UI and hear the feedback on what we could improve. That makes all the hard work worth it! Thank you to all of the Civ fans out there!

I'm speechless... now this is a way to give back to the community!

And trust me, us at Civfanatics are just as thankful for you as you are for us. :D Thanks for fostering my love of history, music, culture, and game design (και ελληνικά...)! Ευχαριστώ!

2540 hours and counting, thanks Firaxis! Loved the art from the get-go. Loved the board game vibes, loved the depth, loved the whole journey from first playing it in Essen at Spiel a week or so before release, loved the first instances I heard the music and saw the cool leader animations. Loved all the DLC (some more than others of course), and loved the NFP-model too.

This small gesture of posting here is greatly appreciated and a huge surprise. Thanks for that : )

Keep up the good work, and good luck on whatever your next endeavour is, whether it's Civ VI related or not.

Knorr, Sir, you don't get enough credit. I've been listening to the soundtrack also out of game, and have gone so far as putting some songs in the playlist of my godchildren. Thanks for the amazing renditions and interpretations of already beautiful music (some more known, others new and welcome discoveries). The music in Civ adds so much to the atmosphere, it's uncanny.

Thank you all. It's difficult to imagine gaming without Civ, but it takes an incredible amount of talent and hard work to make that possible.

This year Civ has taken on an outsized importance for us as it became a major social outlet for our friendship group during lockdown... We got quite a few more people taking one more turn while taking ten more ourselves.

Thank you for being a very bright spot in an otherwise gloomy year!

The monthly releases of the New Frontier Pass have helped this past year to go by quickly and it's been encouraging to hear what fans think after each release. Whether on Reddit, CivFantastics, YouTube, Twitch, or other sites, there is a great enthusiasm and strong opinions for some many aspect of the game. I love how fans cover the spectrum of what they find important in the user interface of Civilization, and how modders are building creative solutions to enhance other players' experiences. To all the modders, thank you for your time, commitment, and creativity.
And thank you guys to make it highly moddable in the first place, civ6 is close to be the best, I hope you'll continue to support that part of the community in the future.
