How in the world did "In The Navy" not make this list?
This is a joke, right?
I like those, though "I will survive" only in the Cake Coverversion. But the Moloko songs are really good, Sexy Boy is quite gay, but still it's a good song (compare it to Muse's "Plug in, Baby", you'll note the similarity). The Scissor Sisters song is from a gay group, but it's one of the better tunes, currently.
I also wonder how Turbonegro could have not made it to the list.
It did. Look at number 53.
I can honestly claim that I dislike all songs in this list. Probably I'm Mr. Super-Straight (or maybe I just don't like pop music )
Are you serious, or being ironical here?
What an utterly ridiculous reply!
How in the world did you draw the conclusion the word gay represents "bad, worse, stupid, etc."???????
In this case, it seems quite clear that it represents a typical (if there is any) lifestyle, connected to gays. If the word gay has become a synonime for anything, it is the opposit of "bad, worse, stupid, etc."
This "homo100" has very litle to do with homophobia.
Alrthough I'd like to see a list that only gay people voted in. My guess is that you'd see alot less Village People and alot more Madonna. Because we all know Madonna is a goddess and deserves to be worshiped as such.
oh yeah aboslutley
i never got her thing
back in the 80s everyone thought she was so hot and sexy, i thought she looked ok
everyone loved her music, ive always hated it
i think that song she made for that james bond movie where she is fighting herslef in that museum is THE worst song i have ever heard, reast of her music maybe 2 songs are ok, the rest of them suck...
just one guys opinion
That list is soo gay. Some of the songs I have never heard. I guess I should be thankful.
Do it Miss Thang!
P.S. There isn't nearly enough Wham! on that list.
Another list show?
And the downfall of Western civilization continues.
remeber its not about what you think; its about what other people want you to think!
Hmm, I guess Reinhard Mey's "Gute Nacht Freunde" should be in.
Gute Nacht, Freunde, es wird Zeit für mich zu geh'n.
Was ich noch zu sagen hätte, dauert eine Zigarette
und ein letztes Glas im Steh'n.
That might very well be illegal here.
George Michael is on the list though. "Last Christmas" should have had a place.
Most men aren't interested in hearing about the bonding of young males.
And have you seen the Village People...?
Reinhard Mey songs may be hippieesque but not really gay.
The list is quite amazing in so far as I would also associate most (almost all actually) songs in it with being stereotypically gay. Most of them are completely unbearable, but so are stereotypical people, after all...
That reminds me of someone proudly presenting it to me on his MP3-Player in London...
Where the hell is BOYS OF SUMMER??? I can see you my love for you nanananan...... the boys of summer!
Man, who knew gay folks had such poor tastes in music?
That list also goes by another name: "100 Songs that suck so bad you hope you never have to hear them again for the rest of your life if you are very lucky"
Separate names with a comma.
