Our Senate is an anachronism. It also scares people off from being a governor (as it almost got me) and as such prevents people from being more involved. So, I propose that we abolish it. I have a couple different plans.
One of the few things the Senate as a whole does is decide the slider settings, at least according to the Code of Laws. However, they certainly don't need to do this. Instead, concentrate that power in the MIA, or a deputy in charge of slider settings. That is an idea I like, having people with small jobs that act underneath ministers (in canada they're called "secretaries of state") and this would get more people involved. I'll post details of my idea later, but right now I think it is good for us to discuss it at least.
