The year is 4000 BC-

As the leader of the Babylonian tribe I have decided to stop our wandering around. If we are to continue surviving we must make radical changes to our way of life. I proposed to my people
that we must settle down create a empire that all the other tribes will envy.

I gather all my man and we begin swiftly building a town. It is not fully complete yet but it's better than the encampments we use to always make. I then prpose that the city be named Babylon
after my people, of course.

As I officially established my city a scout informs me of a small tribe off a few hundred. They want to join my city and if I accept they will teach me Warrior Code. I agree and tell them to
start teaching my men this "Warrior Code" of theirs. It turns out that archery is a big part of Warrior Code. Soon my men become excellent archers even exceeding the teachers that taught them.
They were so extradionary that I gave them a special unit name. They were to be called Bowmen.

With this extradionary new military advantage my ego has gotten a little big. But nohthing that I can't handle. More of my other scouts return and tell me our city is surrounded by 3 great mountains. One of the mountains has been reported to contain gems. I couldnt have received better news, my plan
to settle is the best thing I have ever done. My other scouts also tell me that there are 2 hills and grassland. I was pleased to know that as well.

A scout came in half wet telling me that there is a river that lies next to the forest and to more grassland. I was excited because that allows for some irragation of crops. Feeding the people
should not be too much of a problem.

All is going well for my city and soon to be empire. I summon my Domestic advisor and order him to allocate 20% of my tax money to the research of science. I think science is what is going to propel us into the future.

I order my city to start creating the best Bowman possible. I need him to scout farther away from the city to possibly find
future city sites and/or possible rival tribes. I also order a worker to be trained to build me some roads and/or mines. We need
to improve the land around us to be able to grow and prosper.

Woo hoo, another story!

Still 4000 BC-

My worker has been taught the necessary skills to work my lands. I send the worker to the mountain that contains Gems. The Gems will make my citizens happy as well as bring in needed extra commerce. When he reaches the mountain he will construct a road that leads back to the city of Babylon.

The year now is 3950 BC-

I decide to go pay my Science Advisor a little visit to see what's going on. The Science Advisor tells me of possible "Techs" that we could research. I was going to ask him what a "Tech" was exactly, but I decided that it was probably just scienctist jargon. The scientist started talking about something called Iron Working, that supposedly needed a resource called Iron. He said that it would be able to create better weapons and increase strenght in attacks. I ordered him to get started on it right away. I wonder what exactly can be built with Iron, I can't imagine weapons using something other than Bronze.

A messenger sent by my worker tells me of a small tribe encampment just northeast of the mountain with Gems. He also says that there might be another Gem filled mountain just a little bit east of the mountain the worker is on. That is some great news. I will have to make sure I send a troop to investigate that tribe in the future.

My Military Advisor came to visit me with some production issues he had. He says that maybe we shouldn't produce the new Bowman unit just yet. He says that they still need to perfect the art further. He suggested producing a warrior instead. A regular warrior from the village would be produced faster and does the job just as well. After carefull consideration, I order the stop of the Bowman unit and the start of a Warrior unit.

The production of the warrior has been going well. The worker is still building a road towards the mountain filled with Gems. Life is peacefull and well for my people.

The year is 3800 BC-

Even as years seem to race us by, my people enjoy every minute of it. I am certain that finally settling down is the way of the future. I must go now and entertain myself with my sex slaves.

The year is 3750 BC-

I am notified that my first military warrior is ready. He will serve as my armed scout for recon missions. He is a strong regular warrior trained to use the stone axe with deadly precision. I can sense the young warriors eagerness and confidence to serve his nation. I quickly tell him of his first mission, he must go to the tribe village northeast of here. I pat him on the back and escort him to the edge of the city.

I order the city to produce me a second warrior. We need as much information about our surrounding land as possible.

Some time has passed since I sent that brave warrior to investigate a tribe settlement. Hopefully, he is still in good health.

The year is 3650 BC-

I have gotten word that my warrior has reached the tribe settlement. It seems to be just a small band of people that are trying to get by. My warrior invites them to join the great nation of Babylon, they gleefully agree. In return they kindly offer us a map of their region. The maps reveal a good view of the calm sea and a great abundance of fish.

The road to the mountain of Gems is still in construction, on it's final stages actually. Soon we will have Gems coming into the great city of babylon.

The year is 3600 BC-

My warrior did a great job of investigating the tribe settlement for us. He will now continue with his second mission which is to go north and explore. Maybe find rival tribes and/or good future city sites for my growing empire.

The year is 3550 BC-

My warrior continues to push northward on his second mission. I have been informed that the road to the mountain of Gems should be complete in 50 yrs. Finally, the road is almost finished.

The year is 3500 BC-

A messenger rushes towards me and tells me that the road leading to the mountain of Gems is finished. As soon as news of this spreads around my city the people go crazy with celebrating. The city is in a state of happiness that is infectious. The joy of the people have made our magnificent culture expand to cover more land and people. It will ensure that our customs will be passed on for generations to come. This is a great year for my people.

My second warrior is ready and eagerly awaiting my orders. This brings me to another decision point for my people. I must choose what to produce next for our great city. I summon my military advisor and my domestic advisor to help me out on this tough decision. My domestic advisor tells me that my city has more production areas that anything else. We could build a settler but from our recent recon information we havent found a good spot yet. More recon information will be required before we make a decision on creating a settler. Now my military advisor steps up and tells me that we could build a barracks. I ask him what exaztly is a "barracks" and what is it good for. He says that with a well built barracks we could train our units up to a veteran level of fighting, instead of the regular level we produce now. He also said that they could heal units quicker and could help supply the troops with upgraded weapons and tactics. The domestic advisor quickly reminds me that it will cost 1 gold to maintain. But the military advisor shrugs it off and says that it would be 1 gold "well spent". I take a moment to think this through and make the decision to build the barracks for the moment. Eventually we will have to built it, we might as well build it now.

I order my worker to work on the hill just southwest of the mountain of Gems. I then order my second warrior to go just northwest of the city on a recon mission. We need to know more about our surrounding land. My first warrior continues the push nortward for recon as well. May they be safe on their journeys.

Pretty cool doing a very few turns at a time. Try to have slightly smaller pictures though, otherwise nice!

The year is 3450 BC-

My worker is ready to receive his orders, after a much needed rest. I order him to start mining the hill that he is standing on. We need a boost in our production section. It will take a while but it's important.

My brave warriors push on to the north on their own respective assigned missions.

The year is 3400 BC-

As my second warrior pushes on he discovers some fur on a small forest. We could make luxurious fur coats that we could wear. Bringing even more happiness to the people of my nation. A very great find indeed. I also get word from my first warrior about a place with a abundant amount of Wheat. That is a great bonus to have when you are trying to find possible city sites. It seems that there might be a rather large desert up to the north of my first warrior. Hopefully, my warrior is mistaken and it probably is just a small area of desert. We'll see soon though.

The year is 3350 BC-

The push towards the frontier is top priority at this moment. The two brave warriors of the city are facing many hardships. We have been lucky to not have been faced with barbarian activity, not yet anyway.

The year is 3300 BC-

Thankfully, the north is not a barren desert as presumebly thought by my first warrior.

The year is 3250 BC-

Yet again, I get word from my first warrior of a good amount of hills and mountains to the north.

The year is 3200 BC-

Incredible news! We have just received word from my first warrior about border sightings up north. A rival civilization has been found, and incredibly close to us also.

The year is 3150 BC-

I send my first warrior to investigate and hopefully make contact with this new civilization. I wonder what incredible secrets they hold, hopefully they will be very incline to share, or else.

I'm enjoying the turn-based format, as well as your style of prose. Write On!

The year is 3100 BC-

My second warrior pushes west to a mountain. From atop the mountain he discovers a small tribe settlement right next to the coast. He will of course try to make contact with the leaders of that tribe.

My first warrior has gotten right next to the borders of our rival civilization. He still hasnt spotten anyone to speak to as of yet. He will keep trying to look for local townfolk and workers.

The year is 3050 BC-

My second warrior is now really close to the tribe settlement, he will be able to reach it soon. Now my first warrior still hasnt seen anyone around the borders of the city. I am starting to doubt about it even existing anymore.

The year is 3000 BC=

As my second warrior tries to peacefully approach the tribesmen, the savages run to attack. This is how they treat people?! They quickly regretted the choice they made to attack my warrior. He quickly, using his great training, dessimated the oncoming tribesmen. Tearing through them like a hawk to a fishes skin. After taking out the first wave of tribesmen he destroys their little living areas and kills everyone in sight. Men, women and even children are not spared the anger of my mighty warrior. A group of men has taken to the hills in cowering fear, as my warrior stands outside the now unrecognizable settlement. He quickly follows thos pathetic tribesmen up to the hills.

My first warrior is still despereately trying to look for some contact. Hopefully, they will make themselves known soon.

The year is 2950 BC-

My second warrior catches up to the insignificant tribesmen and puts a end to their pathetic lives. He has now destroyed a whole people, but that's what they get when they reject my peacefull first intentions.

Still, no contact whatsoever, he may have to go deeper into their borders. We must know who they are!

The year is 2900 BC-

My first warrior sends me a message about a small tribe settlement next to the rival civilization. He will go down the hill from which he stands and meet them. Hopefully, we will be treated nicer than the last tribe we met. If not, they will suffer the same fate as the other tribe. My second warrior is going east to head north.

The year is 2850 BC-

My second warrior is still heading east to eventually head north. I got word from my worker that he has finished the mine on the hill next to Babylon, he will now create a road heading to Babylon from the mine.

Unbevilable, how we are being treated approaching tribe settlements. We always come in the name of peace, but the people just won't hear of it. They must then die by my warriors blade. The savages attacked my first warrior, he swiftly took out the savages. He comes to the settlement and everyone runs he proceeds to kill everyone. No one is spared his wrath, if you don't want peace, then fine. He kills most of the men and children, some tribesmen go up to the hills, my first warrior will chase them later. He first rounds up some of the women and rapes them all. It is sad that my warrior has to do this things, but they must be done to teach others a lesson. He marches to the hills after he has done his deed. There he does battle with the only remaining people of that settlement.

The year is 2800 BC-

My second warrior continues on the same path. I quickly get more information from my first warriors battle with the savages. He defeated a group of men atop of a hill. The other cowards take off running like mice running away from a ferocious cat, they run towards the rival civilation. Probably seeking refuge from my great and mighty warrior. What kind of men are these? They are pathetic they run instead off putting up the blade and fighting, they make me sick. My warrior will contact the other civilization now and make peacefull diplomacy.

As my first warrior walks into the city he is approached by a cautious ambassador. He leads my warrior to meet their leader Alexander. The leader approaches my warrior and says, "I am Alexander, of the wise and benevolent Greeks". So that is their name, Greeks. He has a stupid looking face and beedy eyes, what a pathetic leader. Yet, we must keep this civil as to not cause more trouble, for the moment at least. Taking a look around they have warriors like us and suppossedly are more technologically advanced that us. Those arrogant fools, how dare they say that to me. Still, we must keep our composure and see if we can trade knowledge to benefit each other.

My first warrior is lead to a big room where they sit down and will do trades. They show me how much gold they have , 10 gold, in their treasury. They also have knowledge of a interesting system to make "letters", they call it the Alphabet. Pretty impressive of them! I may trade for that, we'll see. They also have a slave for sell, he looks strong enough to do some work. Well enough small talk, we will not trade things.

Negotiations fail, it seems they think they deserve more than what we have to offer. I won't forget there arrogance, I can forsee a early war against them. For now the warrior will leave and keep exploring. These "Greeks" better know who they are messing with. I don't take arrogant little beedy eyed people well.

The year is 2750 BC-

My first warrior suffered a wound after fighting off some of the men who decided to come back and attack. Unsuprisingly, my first warrior still kill the group. He will go northward and explore more of the land around the "Greeks".

My second warrior will go south instead, since I think my first warrior can explore the north by himself. I am curious to see what lies just south of us anyway.

The year is 2710 BC

My first warrior noticed the tribesmen going back as soon as my warrior was leaving. My warrior quickly took those cowards by surprise and beat them to death. This is the second mass genocide of people we have been forced to do. If they weren't so damm stupid, they would still be alive. Not my fault. My second warrior continues southward.

The year is 2670 BC

My first warrior continues northward, even with a wound. My second warrior continues his southward journey.

The year is 2630 BC

I have been informed that a Barracks has just been built. We can train my great army better with this. They will be veteran soldiers when they leave my Barracks. I will personally train my men to be the most destructive force anyone has ever seen. The "Greeks" don't stance a chance against my future Imperial Army. Heh...

My second warrior contines on his path and my first warrior informs me of great jungles northwest of Athens.
