Pretty much, though you might encounter some Commodore nostalgia too.
Given that modern computers are less proprietary systems and more either:
1. a collection of components, or
2. a collection of second rate components that are packaged with tech support,
then I'd say there is no definitive, best, modern computer. Excepting maybe a Mac, if you orient that way.
