What is your favorite Unique Unit? I want to find what you think.

Note: Due to the fact that their is more than 25 unique units (more than the poll limit) I have two of these polls (here is the link for the other one http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=447358

When the part 1 and part 2 polls end, I shall make a new poll with the top 5 of each part.

The Jaguar healing and movement bonus are extremely useful in the early early game when you are still exploring, no tech is required to build them and (I'm pretty sure) they retain the bonus when upgraded. Very nice unit.

I voted Landsknecht. It is important to judge the unit in its historical context, as u cant compare a Panzer to a Landskneckt (poor Landsknecht!)...

Oh please! Civ V is awesome! (at least for me :D) Yes, the diplomacy is not so great compared to Civ IV, but Civ V is a great game.

The jaguars. It gets woodcraft, healing two points after a kill, and a jungle defensive bonus on building - and all of these remain with the unit through out its promotions in the infantry line. Build them early and often and they form the core of your army for the entire game - add in a couple of promotions for killing barbs and a minor war or two, you can have an awesome swords unit that beats anyone else.

This will sound silly, but I voted for the B17. I love air warfare in Civ 5, and the B17 blows everything else out of the water in that department.

More than that, though, there's time between the discovering of the resource it requires and the tech that enables it to actually acquire a good amount. Iron-based UUs can leave you screwed, as well as those that have to follow through an Iron-based upgrade path.

Close seconds to the Musketmen UUs.

I love the B17... the only thing that kept me sane when destroying the Aztecs in South America.

Jags in jungle are the best without a doubt. However there isn't always jungle so I voted Samurai.

In the end we may have a competition between winner from this poll (Janissary or Jaguar probably) Vs Keshlik from the other poll. :)

An equally off-topic response, I think influence should be adjusted so that you can only buy friendship, not allied status, with a city-state, since as it is the other ways of obtaining influence only really matter if you're short of cash and, as you say, you can buy the UN a bit too easily (even more easily than in reality...)
