Oh, if it were above the

very different shapes, you know. But I guess its just semantics, am I right?

Job 26:7 states "He is... Hanging the Earth upon nothing"
This sentence looks conveniently edited. Clearly, it says that SOMEONE is hanging the earth upon nothing, but the ellipses will not allow me to see who. I assume that it is God.
Technically, earth is not hanging, as well as technically, its not upon nothing, its held by the very real suns gravity. But I wont make a point about it, because it would be incoherent with my line of thinking that its foolish to interpret the bible literally.
I wont say that its reasonable interpretation until I see the entire sentence (or the context that allow us to know who it is referring to and why), but it could end up in a defendable line of thinking
though hardly enough to make you assume that they had even brute knowledge of universal gravitation.

Yes but the BBL showed that God had love for mankind, it shows that he put thought into our creation, which is more then just a display of power, but it is even moreso a display of his love. And if we did evolve... why haven't we evolved further... "X-Men" anybody.
Oh, but we ARE evolving. Evolution has not reached a climax yet. In fact its unlikely that evolution will ever have a climax.
See, evolution is about adaptation. Generally, it means improvement, because when various adaptations shows up, the better ones survive, the others are extinguished. Its a very slow process, but its noticeable at the long run. Not that those adaptations are intrinsically better, they can be just convenient.
Hypothetical example: Somehow, the sun stops shining (and miraculously life in earth does not change, except the fact that we cannot see anything due to the lack of light). Like happens to blind people today, we would develop other senses and rely less and less in vision.
As time passes, that information will be printed in genes. Other senses will get stronger and stronger, and the eyes would start to disappear. This process happened in the real world, with fish that lives in deep waters, too deep for light to reach. They have no eyes or residual and inoperative eyes, or they have biological light. Adaptations.
Not that such new human senses would be naturally better than vision
but they would be more fit to the environment, and therefore, topically better. It's all about biological convenience.
When it goes to humans, why do you thing that the darker skin tones majorities are in the hotter countries? Its because the pigmentation helps to protect against sunlight. Simple as that. It disappeared in the colder countries because less protection is necessary.
Evolution system is bound to reality. Comparing it to the x-man is to be joking, because comics rely on exaggerations. In their world, there are lots of aliens, ships that travel to outer space in minutes, immortal humans and divine beings with physical shapes and constant appearances all the time.
Oh, anyway, I realize you were just kidding, its just that I like being emphatic.
Regards
