    Interesting propaganda here, since granary and watermill food do not show up in the central tile, while maritime trades do...unless of course it's civil service food bonus along a river.... But why lie, one wonders? :mischief:

    Half truth.

    There is a difference between 'and' and 'or', we have bonus from one only, not both.

    propaganda is powerful when backed by the half truth, but still it's propaganda that serves your own interest :goodjob:

    The Persians were merely mentioning all the ways that you could be getting more than the standard food from your Capitol tile. Hence there was "some truth" to the statement. Is there ever a point where someone can claim that they speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help you Zoroaster?

    4-food tile --> kill :crazyeye:

    I wonder what 6-food tile leads to in the eyes of Persians --> genocide?

    Any word on what happened to Jake / Genghis? Did he lose his capital or something, is that why he's surrendered the game?

    He left numerous games without a word, just like NWO.

    Let's put the game back in the public game pool.

    Somehow I got Jake's save file. We need to revert back to Onan.

    Seems to be a standard error when someone surrenders. I reverted once and it jumped all the way back to Tab's turn, who goes just before Jake. Are you sure it needs to go all the way back to me?

    I've also listed the game as public, I think, but kept it invite only...I think. Those buttons are kind of confusing, haven't used em before. Also posted for a sub.

    Back to Tab should be fine. Invite only seems not working for now, but it may be implemented later I guess.

    I'd rather get a reliable player in than some random who might not even realise it's a game in progress and quit again.

    Seems like there is a lot of attrition on the bigger games. People get busy in real life etc... or lose interest after half a year. I am probably not going to join any new games with more than 6 for GMR. Too unpredictable.

    As long as subs are available, I think it's worth it. The real question is whether GMR and everyone's computers and patience can handle late game saves on a huge map.

    could we suspend the game timer for a bit? I'm unable to play because GMR is not accepting the new game turns from the patched CiV.
