The case of the missing profile picture

I uploaded a photo that had been my profile picture on my old account (so I know it was proper format, size) and it appears on My Account, but it is not showing up with new posts. Any help?

Your profile picture is not the same as your avatar (the image besides your post) .
To edit your avatar image, to to My Account -> Edit Avatar, and NOT-> Edit Profile Picture.
