Up there with Bevan, except Bev did it against Walsh and Ambrose.

So Kevin Pietersen appears to have been made a scapegoat. It seems a really odd decision to me, but then I suppose England weren't going to pass up an opportunity to be rid of him.

Huh, already on sale? For the SCG? Are there any Manuka matches?

I got maximum allotment of 4 for the premium seats at Manuka ($30 for Afg v Ban, $40 for WI v Zim and SA v Ire) and some SCG bottom price QF tix for 50 a pop. The available semifinal seats are too expensive for me, waiting to see if more cheap seats become available.

There's two presales. The first was to "Australian Cricket Family" ppl which is the registration I had to do to use Cricket Australia's app. That's already open.

The second is a presale period through the CWC website, starting in a day or two. You might still be able to register for that presale, the deadline was today.

I feel I should take back some of what I've said about him over the years.

Will be interesting to see if Watson comes back into the team. He shouldn't, but I get the feeling he's still considered too sacred. Would be unfortunate for Doolan to be dropped.

I've been glued to the cricinfo feed all day. Amazing finish! Was getting pretty nerve-wracking there. It's nice validation after the theory that the Ashes victory was pretty much all England's doing.

That was a close one. For awhile I thought SA might just hold on to the draw.

Not a huge fan of the mankad without a warning, but he had been warned numerous times, so fair play to SL and Buttler can blame himself for getting out so stupidly.

Adam Gilchrist wearing a GoPro while facing Shaun Tait:

    Link to video.

I don't understand how shot selection is possible. And apparently Tait was only bowling at about 130 anyway.

264 for Rohit Sharma against Sri Lanka. I bet they will be ruing the chance they had when he was on 4, a simple catch down at 3rd man.
