So I get that no tall leaders have an associated Civ and Vice Versa but they could be a bit more hoenst with their pairings. Like I really don't know how the Missippians compliment someone like Rizal. I feel like his picks should be Kmher if they usually pair up leaders with regions or Maurya given their synergy. It seems like the devs realized how some Civs would never get picked by the AI because they neglected to give them ample leader representation. I hope we see this change as more are added but given they gave us a European Leader and another Leader of European origin it seems like certain regions are going to be lacking in proper depth for a while.

Mississippian is associated because it unlocks Hawai'i, which they decided to associate with Rizal.

Are you thinking of lack of real world connection between Rizal and Mississippian, or game abilities? To me José Rizal and Ibn Battuta where given abilities which contribute to any civ.

I feel like Rizal should have unlocked the Majapahit. It's similar to Hawaii in terms of gameplay and located in SEA, like the Philippines. That way Trung Trac could now unlock Siam.

Yeah the leader choice is iffy and wasn't as well thought out as it could be for release. Ideally, you would want as many different leaders from regions and eras as possible. Instead we the same amount of leaders associated with America (two of which being contemporaries btw) as the entirety of Africa. The leaders are the face of your game and where it stands they're incredibly limiting.
