That's all well and good, but what does this do for DYOS?

That's all well and good, but what does this do for DYOS?
As you said in one of your pieces of art when everyone was going “ZOMG Y U NO MAKE DYOS COMIC 24/7 THOR?!”. These sort of projects for me are therapeutic (especially when I’m taking breaks from a stressful competitive match in Overwatch). These side projects like these give me the encouragement and momentum to push through.

The point is, given how past side projects have bled into the canon, you'll understand if I'm more than a little concerned you won't keep the two worlds separate.

A few months ago I started a comprehensive overhaul of Coruscant's wiki article, and figured it was a good time to update the index of missing comics. I've tabled the DYOS X lacuna below; note that some include non-comic images but that you may want to replace for posterity. In order to shave off characters I've abbreviated common users as follows:

Abaddon=AB, Angst=LJ, azzaman333=AZ, Captain2=CA, choxorn=CX, CivCube=CC, CivGeneral=CG, e350tb=TB, GuitarHero=GH, Kan' Sharuminar=KS, kill fire=KF, kulade=KA, Love=GR, mythmonster2=MM, Perfection=PF, Swedishguy=SE, Stylesjl=JL, Stylesrj=RJ, Terrance888=CL

'PB' in Notes indicates it's a Photobucket image, with damage ranging from just the watermark to shrunk into illegibility.
If the page itself is lost and you can't quite remember what it was, this page recaps most of the events in chronological order.

Fixed most of my missing images in 10, the few ones I couldn't find were like, one-panel not-really-canon comics, if I ever find them again I'll reupload them but I'm kinda doubtful I'll find them.

10.5 is now also fixed, other than a few external image links that link to things I've long forgotten.

Reading through years worth of comics is a fun little trip through memory lane, and by "fun," I mean "man, I really made some crappy things when I was 13 or 14."

But hey, it's not all bad, and to some extent I'm glad I can cringe at some of my earlier work, because that just tells me I've gotten better and know how to write things better now.

I don’t know how long I’ve been away, but just a heads up, I’m still alive. Though outside of playing WoW, Starcraft, and Overwatch. Largely been focused my creative energies outside of DYOS.

I’ve looked at the chart that Thorvald posted. I’m afraid that all of my older comics are lost to the sands of time and are irrecoverable. I may check on an old old old MP3 drive I used as an external HDD. But I can’t promise anything that I’d be able to recover any old images.

I still cringe at my early work. I honestly, for me, don’t know if it’s a sign if I’ve gotten better at writing since I’ve yet to start my new For the Republic series.

The comic after the most recent one will take a little more work, and I'll give it a bit of time if anyone wants to make follow-up comics to it.

Yes I'm using "Plot's End" literally, and yes I'm serious. I could talk about my motivations, but why talk here when I can draw it. I will elaborate more in future comics.

I do have an idea in mind of how I want to wrap this up, but ultimately it's all up to the rest of you. It is still DRAW Your Own Story, after all.

I had such a big smile seeing the new pages over the last few weeks. This year marks a decade of me being involved with DYOS, so it seems the time is ripe for a grand return of sorts. Thor knows what I'm talking about... Stay tuned.

This marks 8 years of my drafting the only 2 pages I ever did... Damn

Looking for feedback in regard to my comic in terms of visuals. Prior to my latest comic, I've done heavy post-production for each picture before I compile them into a comic. In the latest comic, what you see is the raw image that came out of Source Filmmaker with no post-production techniques done within GIMP. The plus side is that it cuts down time significantly. Shall I continue with this new process or return to the old process?

As I'd said in direct correspondence, ever since you'd started working in SFM I thought the pages were too dark, whereas the raw shots look more like the old Gmod lighting. Personally I prefer it, though after pages of high-contrast now the new comic feels a bit washed-out. If you didn't want to give it up completely, I'd just say be gentler with the rebalance. Giving us a side-by-side would make it easier to weigh in.

Spoiler Big Image is Big :

Image A: Both Key and Fill Lights have Volumetric Lighting enabled. Post-production done in GIMP with Gaussian Blur, Utilized Adjust Color Curves to brighten/darken segments of the image and redden the image slightly.

Image B: Raw Image. Both Key and Fill Lights have volumetric lighting enabled.

Image C: Raw Image, only the fill light has volumetric lighting enabled

Image D: Raw Image, no volumetric lighting

Ambient Occlusion
(Note, The images for the AO testing was done with the settings from Image D.)

Toss-up between C and D depending on how legible you want to make background details.

I honestly can't tell the difference between AO settings other than how they compare to D. Though these are like 4x the size of my screen so I can't view them at full scale.

Well, moving forward in my comics. I’m planning on not overdoing volumetric lighting (I presume that’s where the washed out complaint comes from). C is something that I’m planning to utilize in cases to simulate a dusty place or foggyness. A good example of that effect is the picture I made of Niraende and Peter when I used volumetric lighting on lamps used on the background objects to simulate foggy and fine particle snow. In regards to background details on how sharp or blurry I make it, I mostly let depth of field do the heavy lifting.

I honestly can't tell the difference between AO settings other than how they compare to D. Though these are like 4x the size of my screen so I can't view them at full scale.
And there lies the rub since I take the renders at 4K resolution and squishing them down to size makes it a challenge to tell them apart.

Well, I can view them at full scale, but not side-by-side. :p

I prefer D in the first line for the sharpness -my eyesight isn't up to seeing difference in the second- but would suggest that A w/ no fog on the figure and no/way less on the closest background crate, and only some less/more than that on the one just behind it, would maximize clarity/sense of depth...
